Warmer Weather

Week 21 Mar 29th and 31st

The snow continues to melt as spring brings warmer weather. Our mornings this week were spent searching for little chipmunks! Both groups were pros at finding them and helping me count them up.

On Wednesday, our morning meeting leader brought us to forest camp for some imagination play and mud kitchen creations. We also had a fire to keep us toasty, while the students enjoyed finding the perfect stick to put in the fire. After forest camp, we returned to the front lawn for some lunch. To end the day, we let our creative sides loose with some coloring pages.

On Friday, we also headed up to forest camp for some play, but this group had their lunches in tow. We played on fallen logs, squished in the mud, climbed on our fort, and built a nice warm fire. We ate lunch around our fire and enjoyed a few stories before returning to the front yard for some free play to end our day together.
