LAST DAY OF FOREST PLAYSCHOOL! Where has the year gone? Caroline and Emily set up all coloring outside, since it was another beautiful spring day.
We waited for all of our friends to arrive either coloring or playing games in the front yard. All together we planned the last day with an added surprised at the end.
We enjoyed snack outside in the sun. Emily read a book about squirrels, which was so much fun. All during her reading, we could see the squirrels running around having a great day too. After snack, we packed up our backpacks with our lunch and water and hiked up to Mossy Rocks to play.
It is always an adventure at Mossy Rocks, there is never a shortage of creativity and fun in this space. Emily and Caroline built nature sculptures and some of our playschoolers joined us too. Others took plane trips around the world, climbed in one large tree, or took their time exploring the area at their own pace.
Once we got hungry, we knew it was time to hike up to Lookout Rock for lunch. We made the steep travel up and enjoyed our lunch surrounded by all the new green leaves and birds chirping.
As we hiked down we saw Debbie at Forest Camp, we popped over to see she was getting a fire ready! She asked us to help her find materials and we were happy to help. Debbie got a lovely fire made, we sat around it, and enjoyed some treats that some of our friends brought to celebrate the last day of Forest Playschool. Emily also brought materials for s’mores, everyone got to make one just the way they like it. As we were eating our treats, we went around and shared one thing that we loved about Forest Playschool.
It’s sad to say goodbye, but great to look back at all of the fun we had this year. If you are interested in our Fall 2018 season registration is open now!
Thanks for a magical year!
