February Adventures

Week 15 Feb 8th and 10th

This week we spent our mornings searching for colorful mice “hopping” throughout the front yard. Both groups found all the mice with ease; they’re no match for our sleuthing skills!

On Wednesday, Sarah joined us for a fun filled day. Our morning meeting leader had lots planned for us, starting with a trip up to Forest Camp. While there, the students let their imaginations run free, from baking in our snow kitchen to riding on the fallen tree motorcycle. There was plenty to do for everyone. We made our way back down to enjoy lunch on the picnic tables and color some porcupines, which will be used as our morning critters in the future!

On Friday, Jacob joined us as we adventured up to forest camp! We made treats in the snow kitchen, hung out in the fort, took a ride on the tree motorcycle, and made snow animals, including this cute pooch! As we headed back down from forest camp, we stopped by the front porch to fill our bird feeders for our feathered friends.
