Today marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. In this uncertain time, we know that the actions we take over the coming months will define the world for generations. Take action today by telling Congress to build a better future for birds, people, and the places we need. http://ow.ly/NDeU30qzA87

Take action to build a better future for birds, people, and the places we need.

Together, America will overcome this global pandemic and it will be time to rebuild our economy and the type of world we want to live in. While there are immediate needs to be met related to the response to COVID-19, we must also invest in long term conservation efforts to rebuild a better, healthier America and restore nature and our economy.

Please sign this petition to members of Congress calling on them to invest in programs that build more resilient communities, with more jobs and cleaner air, while protecting birds, restoring habitat and ensuring a safer future for all of us.

Even before the threat of this pandemic, there have been clear signs that it was time for change. Extreme weather continues to ravage communities throughout America with unprecedented flooding, hurricanes, and droughts. Our own science shows that if we do nothing to address climate change, two-thirds of bird species in North America face extinction—but there is still time to make a difference and protect birds and the places they need to survive.

The actions we take over the coming months will define the world for generations. What we do now should reflect what we know is called for in this moment.
