What makes a bird a bird? Head, shoulders, knees, and toes... That’s not right… To find out what makes a bird a bird join me in the video below as I use my Audubon magic to turn myself into a bird.

Dress a Bird

One of my favorite things about birds is that their physical characteristics tell you about the way they live their lives. Sharp talons and a hooked bill mean they eat meat. Duck feet are webbed so they can swim well. Some birds are camouflaged to hide in their nests while some birds stand out to attract a mate. Birds with long legs often spend time at the shores and while their long legs sneak through towering above the water so they can see their prey. See if you can find materials around your house to turn yourself into a bird! What will your bird eat? Where does your bird live?
