BVD (Beautiful Vermont Day)

Week 27 May 17th and 19th

The colder weather this week couldn’t slow us down as we hunted for red foxes in the front yard. This was a tougher search, as they camouflage well now that all the snow has melted, but our students were able to rise to the challenge!

On Wednesday, we headed up to forest camp for some play time! We had lots of fun cooking and baking different dishes for Emily to try. We did some climbing on our favorite snag and got in lots of fun imaginative play time too. Afterwards, we headed back to the front yard for lunch, free play, and pick up.

On Friday, we adventured over to forest camp for some imagination play, mud kitchen cooking, and searching for the perfect stick. We had a great time hiding in the fort, climbing on the fallen logs, and “drilling” into the snag with our stick drills. After lots of play time, we headed back to the front yard for lunch and pick up.
