Aquatic Adventures

Ecology Day Camp, July 22-26

This week at Aquatic Adventures, we went to every single water source at Audubon! We started the week off by exploring the brook on Monday and Tuesday. We searched for critters, built dams across the water and made rock paint.

We loved exploring the brook!

On Wednesday, we went to the river where we enjoyed snack before exploring. We built rock towers, made more rock paint, skipped lots of rocks, and built fairy houses. On Thursday, we went back to the brook to race boats made out of birch bark and other natural materials! We then spent the afternoon at Beaver Pond catching critters. We even found a few snakes!

On Friday, we enjoyed lots of time at the river, playing games and cooling off. We finished up the week by having a super sweet treat of s'mores! We had such a great week of exploring all of the water at Audubon and learning lots of new things!
