Register Here!

LGBTQIA2S+ hikers and allies are invited for a leisurely summer walk at North Branch Nature Center (NBNC) this August! We will hike less than two miles, including NBNC’s Universally Accessible trail (0.3 miles). Throughout the hike we will make some naturalist stops to explore the local flora and fauna!

All are welcome! Participants under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.

Trail Information: The trail surface is mostly  compacted crushed stone as well as compacted dirt. Trails are mostly wide and flat with some incline as we head up to North Branch River Park. For more information about the trail network, visit NBNC’s trail map page.

Accessibility: For any participant who can join the Universally Accessible part of our hike but not the rest, there will be an activity set up in North Branch Nature Center and we will come join you after walking a bit further.

Feel free to bring a swimsuit, towel, and close-toed shoes if you would like to swim after the program concludes. Swimming is at your own risk.

Registration is required.

Please reach out to Sarah Hooghuis with any questions, sarah.hooghuis@audubon.org.

Hosts:
