Vermont Woodlands is ready to see you all again at their first in-person gathering since March 2020 that promises to be a fun-filled and celebratory day! We hope you’re ready too for our 2021 Annual Meeting …. And MORE!  Join us in the tent for all day or any part of the festivities.

Registration begins at 8:30 am with coffee, pastry, and visiting friends, both old and new. A morning Walk in the Woods will be led by Allan Thompson and Audubon Vermont's Steve Hagenbuch. Return to the tent to enjoy a full Austrian Buffet. After a very brief business meeting, you’ll hear from our fine line-up of speakers. Commissioner Michael Snyder will talk about the state of the forest; John Austin will talk about wildlife habitat connectivity and private landowners; John Morton will present on design and care of recreation trails.

At 4pm we will begin our long-awaited remembrance of Put Blodgett, 20-year president of VWA, who passed away in March 2020. We will celebrate Put’s life and his outstanding contributions to the forestry community through stories, pictures, anecdotes, with hors d’oeuvres and cash bar.

COVID: All attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination or proof of Negative Covid test within 3 days of the event. Unless otherwise mandated by the State, masks for outdoor and open-air tent events are encouraged but not required.
