Winter Welcome!

Week 12 Jan 18th and 20th

We started off out morning finding 30 “red foxes” in the front yard. After a while both Wednesday and Friday's group found all 30, Wednesday we found our last fox at pick up time!

On Wednesday we had a beautiful day. Our morning meeting leader had big plans for us full of fun play time. We started our day after snack and a story with playing “What time is it Mr. Fox” in the garden. We also got to spend some time climbing on our old rock wall and had a great conversation about safety at Audubon. We then walked to Forest Camp and on our way there we found some deer tracks and deer scat too, we followed the tracks around Forest Camp. At Forest camp we enjoyed the ice kitchen and climbing around the trees.

On Friday we were welcomed with some new snow throughout the day, it was a wonderful snow globe outside. We played a bunch in the snow, rolling snow balls and making a 5 snowball high snowman. We then had a job to do, we filled our bellies at snack time and now we needed to help the birds. We found which bird feeders need to be filled and got to scoop seed into them. We spent the rest of the time enjoying a snowy forest camp. We made snow slushies, muffins, cookies, and cakes. We climbed up and down trees and make snow angels too.
