To get ready for this year's Birdathon we've been thinking about the question "Why do I bird?" We're sharing our thoughts (and pictures and videos) on Instagram and Facebook. Birdathon is happening May 20th this year. Birdathon is one of Audubon Vermont’s biggest fundraisers of the year. Our goal this year is to raise $30,000. Help us meet our goal by supporting a birder today!

What. What's Birdathon? 

Birdathon is one of Audubon Vermont’s biggest fundraisers of the year. It's a 24-hour marathon of birding. As a staff team, we'll begin our journey at the Green Mountain Audubon Center on May 20th at 6 am and will hike and bike through forests, fields and along ponds and rivers to identify as many bird species as possible within a 24-hour period.
