Valentine's Day Special

Week 16 Feb 15th and 17th

This week, our morning task was to find squirrels. We are getting very good at spotting these fuzzy friends quickly and found them in time for some morning free play.

On Wednesday, our morning meeting leader had lots planned for us! It was a beautiful sunshiny day, which we started by hiking up to Lookout Rock! We passed some newly fallen trees and were very interested in the giant roots that were now visible. We spent a few minutes listening to all the sounds around us at the peak of Lookout Rock before heading back down for some free play at forest camp.

On Friday, we started out with a rainy morning. Despite the weather, our students had a fun day playing at forest camp, where we made snow muffins, brewed a potion in the witches pot, and had lots of imaginative play on the fallen logs. To finish our day, we had some free play in the front yard where we enjoyed sliding down the large snow bank.
