Enchanted Forest

Preschool Nature Camp July 11-15

This week explored all thing minature and made of magic! We uncovered the magic in the woods of Audubon and explored the enchanted places.

On Monday we recieved our very first letting from the King Fairy. We create wands at Forest Camp and casted spells. We also made fairy home gardens and when the fairies have seen them, the grass will grow!

On Tueday we had a letter from Benny Butterfly. We created cauldrons, turned a camper into a butterfly and went butterfly searching in the garden. We made the butterflies some food out of bananas and old beer! Make your own butterfly mash at home with these recipies.

Wednesday we got a letter from Gary the Gnome. We learned all about different animal habitats, caught critters at Beaver Pond, built fairy and gnome homes, and even ate lunch at Beaver Pond too. We cooled down by playing drip, drip drop in the afternoon.

Thursday we got a letter from Wendy the Witch! We learned about a lot of herbs (lemon balm, mint, chamomile, and lavendar) and made tea with them to enjoy on Friday. We also made magic potions with the cauldrons we made and painted and followed fairy clues that sent us on a scavenger hunt around Auduon.

Friday we recieved a note for a Fairy! We hiked all the way to the brook and were given glitter from a magical fairy Maiden hair Fern. We cooled off with a tea party and danced it out with a dance party too!
