Join us at Charlotte Wildlife Park and Wildlife Refuge on May 17th to explore the birds and biodiversity of the park! We'll kick off the day at 7 AM with a bird walk around the park led by Ali Wagner of Green Mountain Audubon Society. We will discuss the many projects the Oversight Committee has undertaken to enhance the biodiversity of the park from pollinator plantings to riparian habitat management to water quality improvements by Lewis Creek Association's Ahead of the Storm project. Mark LaBarr from Audubon Vermont will be banding birds from 8:00 till 10:00 AM and discussing recent habitat management at the park for Golden-winged Warblers and other shrubland birds.
The event is free but space is limited for Ali Wagner's bird walk and registration is required. Please register at this link - you will receive information about where to meet after signing up. No registration is required for Mark LaBarr's bird banding demonstration.
