What an amazing day!
We celebrated 2 friends birthdays today, and got to celebrate the fact that on Monday it will be Sarah's birthday! It wasn't to chilly outside, which allowed up to play outside a lot.
Our morning meeting leader planned a wonderful day. We gathered all of our things and made way to Forest Camp, where we enjoyed snack and a story, and I made a warm fire too. We played some imagination games, climbed trees together, and built some forts too. Forest Camp is a place where we can run around and explore the nature world, wild also letting out imaginations run wild.
Our morning meeting leader also wanted to take a hike up to Lookout Rock! This was our first time as a group hiking up there and it was fun! Once we got up there, Sarah showed us that we could see both Camels Hump, and Mt. Mansfield, it is a beautiful spot at Audubon.
After we hiked down we needed to move into the Education Barn, where Sarah and I had a surprise craft waiting for us!
We carved pumpkins! We split up into 2 even teams and our playschoolers told Sarah and I what to do. They designed the face of the jackolanterns and we drew and cut them! Everyone had the opprotunity to use their hands to get out all of the seeds, it feels so weird, but also sooooooo good.
Yay Forest Playschool!
