Snow Fun Time

Week 13 Jan 25th and 27th

Finding black bears was our task as we arrived in the morning. There were 32 black bears hiding in the front yard and both groups found them all! Both days were rather cold in the morning but we stayed moving and had some fun!

Wednesday’s group enjoyed some games in the yard to start us off. After snack we got to fill the bird feeders with Black oil sunflower seed too. We enjoyed some awesome play time in the snow at Forest Camp. Kyra and I spent some time building a fire, and we had some help from our students trying to find dead and dry sticks. We enjoyed lunch around the fire so that we could stay nice and warm.

Friday’s group was the first time I had been sledding all season! We spent so much time playing right outside the barn shoveling snow around and making an amazing sledding hill too. It was such a sunny day, the first day of sun we had in a while. After we got tired of sledding, we moved to Forest Camp where we climbed trees, made treats in the snow kitchen and we road some snow motorcycles too. We enjoyed lunch in the garden in the bright sunshine!
