See ya, snow!

Week 24 Apr 19th and 21st

All of the snow has gone from the front yard, and the frogs have come out to play! This week we spent our mornings searching for leopard frogs. Though they can camouflage much better without the snow, our kiddos found these frogs in no time.

On Wednesday, we ventured up to forest camp, where we embraced the squishy mud by searching for bugs, worms, and other critters. We also baked some delicious dirt casseroles and rode our fallen tree motorcycles. We ate lunch at forest camp before returning to the front yard to pick up.

On Friday, we stayed close to the center, playing in the front and back yards. We played on our “pirate ship”, did some investigating of the stones, and laid in the grass to enjoy the weather. We finished up with lunch and free play!
