Pumpkin Fun

Week 7 Oct 19th and 21st

This week we started off our morning with finding something a little spooky, ghosts! It took us some time but each group found them all.

On Wednesday it was a little chilly but the sun was shining and we wanted to explore Beaver Pond once again. We hiked down after snack and a story and looked at all the fall colors that we passed by. At Beaver Pond we started to do some mud construction, building towers and other mud sculptures. Once back at the barn before lunch we split into two teams and carved pumpkins. Everyone was included in the conversation about what kind of face out pumpkin would have!

Friday’s group wanted to stay close by this week at Forest Camp. After a fun morning game of freeze tag we journeyed to Forest Camp where we played in the mud kitchen, climbed trees, and built fairy houses too. Friday’s crew also split into 2 groups and carved pumpkins too. It’s so great to see us work together and use our words to express ourselves!
