It was a BEAUTIFUL fall day this Friday! The sun was shining and warming up the day very quickly. As we arrived, we collected leaves of different colors, shapes, and sizes to compare on contrast them together. We gathered many yellow and brown leaves; there were a few red ones that looks like fire, which were the favorite leaves in this group.
Our morning meeting leader wanted to do something different and go somewhere new, so we traveled down to Peeper Pond! We enjoyed the hike through the woods, and refueled with snack when we got to the field.
At Peeper Pond we went on a hunt to find milkweed seed pods and spread all of the seeds in the wind! We are pollinators! We also played hide and go seek in the field, scared Sarah and I by jumping out from the tall grass, and enjoyed a few rounds of What Time is it Mr. Fox!
By the time lunch came, it felt like a warm early summer day! We hiked back up to the barn and greeted our adults with smiles and hugs!
