Fort Frenzy

November 1, 2019

What a wild rainstorm and day we had! Thankfully, many of our friends were still able to make it and show off their wonderful Halloween Costume, Debbie and Emily came dressed up too!

We went around and shared what we were, we had The Flash, Darth Vader, a cheetah, a witch, and many more!  We each made a spider, and attached eight wiggly legs and a string to its body so that we could play with them.

Debbie really wanted to have a dance party and we were all so excited.  We danced and grooved to the fun music that played and danced with our spiders too. Dacing really worked up an appetite, so we gathered together and enjoyed snack and a story.

After our snack, we built an amazing cave/fort! We used tables and blankets, it was awesome. Debbie brought in some twinkle lights so that the inside of the cave wasn't so dark.  We ready a story about bats in our cave, enjoyed lunch, and Debbie and Emily played the sounds of nocturnal animals, like a skunk, racoon, and coyote!

Even though we couldn't spend time outside, we made the most of our time inside.
