Welcome to April! This week, we spent our mornings searching for raccoons. Though they have a reputation for being sneaky little animals, both groups were able to find them with no trouble.
On Wednesday, our morning meeting leader celebrated his birthday by leading us on a wonderful hike down to beaver pond. We spend the morning searching for Eastern Newts, playing in the mud, and breaking up the melting ice on the edge of the pond. We finished our day with lunch and free play in the front lawn.
On Friday, we journeyed up to forest camp for some good old playtime in the woods. We did all of our favorite activities, like playing in the mud kitchen, climbing on the “stage” (large fallen logs) and climbing trees. We enjoyed lunch in the front lawn and ended our day with free play, as usual.
