Where Do They Go? The Amazing Annual Cycle of Our Grassland Birds

December 18, 2024

Join Allan Strong, Margaret Fowle, and Hyla Howe for a virtual presentation to explore the annual cycle of some of our favorite grassland songbirds. Many of us are familiar with the Bobolinks, Eastern Meadowlarks, and Grasshopper Sparrows that breed in our hayfields and pastures, but where do they go for the winter, and what habitats do they rely on as they migrate? What threats do they face along the way? The full annual cycle of these species takes them on unique paths that influence the length of their breeding season, and their resilience in the face of climate change.

Email us at bobolinkproject@massaudubon.org by 10 am on Wednesday, December 18th to register for this free webinar.
