Vermont’s changing climate is bringing unpredictable weather, requiring landowners and foresters to adapt their management practices more than ever. Explore an active forestry project with Vermont Woodlands Association, Vermont Tree Farm Program, Meadowsend Timberlands LTD, and Audubon VT.

Guiding us will be Ryan Kilborn of Meadowsend Timberlands LTD, a consulting forester overseeing the project. Ryan will discuss his work thinning hardwood stands and creating small openings to improve forest health and wildlife habitat. Plus, we’ll keep an eye out for wildlife tracks and signs along the way!
