Spend a morning with Audubon Vermont staff and Rosina, a fifth-generation farmer at Wallace Farm, for a guided bird walk overlooking the beautiful Worcester Range. Together, we’ll explore both grasslands and forest habitats and see some of Audubon Vermont’s priority bird species. As we explore, we’ll discuss habitat needs and highlight bird-friendly practices. This walk is for birders of all experience levels, and anyone interested in bird-friendly habitat management.
What to Bring: Please bring your own binoculars if you have them, and dress appropriately for a walk in natural terrain – long pants and boots are recommended.
Accessibility Information: Our walk with be at a slow (birding) pace and will cover approximately 1-1.5 miles. We will be walking on uneven ground through non-maintained trails.
Weather: If light rain is forecasted, we will go ahead with the walk. If strong winds or heavy rain are expected, we will reschedule or cancel the walk. We will email participants with any changes.
