Growing up in a rural area, he spent much of my time exploring the streams and forests around his home. These early experiences guided him to the University of Vermont, where he is currently studying Sustainability, Ecology, and Policy with a focus in Applied Ecology. When he isn’t birding, he enjoys fly fishing for trout at home in Western NY or here in the Green Mountains. Reading, photography, and spending time with friends and family are also things he enjoys in my free time.
At UVM, he contributes to Headwaters, the campus environmental publication. He is also a member of the UVM Birding club and co-founded the UVM Society for Ecological Restoration. This summer, he is looking forward to working with Audubon Vermont, engaging with priority bird species, and contributing to their conservation initiatives.
