Take a walk at the Green Mountain Audubon Center this fall and you will see many new additions along the trails. The Audubon Center received a Vermont Recreational Trails Grant that helped us to restore the popular Hemlock Swamp Trail boardwalk and staircase. It also helped to build new kiosks, design new trail maps, and install new wayfinding and parking area signage.
These upgrades will help visitors to more easily find their way around the Audubon Center and will help us to share more about the important work Audubon Vermont does through our education and conservation programs.
Autumn is a wonderful time to get out and enjoy nature. We encourage you to come out to explore the Audubon Center soon! Our trails are free and open to the public daily, from dawn until dusk. http://vt.audubon.org/visit-us
