Sun Fun

Oct 18 2022

Here comes the sun! This was our first really sunny day and we loved it.

Our morning started with a color scavenger hunt, we were surprised at how many colors we could find out in nature.

We then spent our morning working on shelters again and we developed a society, we had a town hall meeting at one point to discuss what improvements we could make to our settlement. The communication was great!

To enjoy the sunshine in the afternoon we decided to check out beaver pond, it was so muddy and wet there, which means we had so much fun. At the pond a group of us we focused on catching critters, this was likely to be one of the last days we could do this before our amphibian friends go into hibernation. Another group started to work on a water filtration station. They noticed that the water flowing into this puddle was very mucky, and wanted it to be clean, so they gathered materials to try and filter out the muck. How incredible!
