Sculpting Fun

Week 6: February 9, 2022

It has been a very busy and snowy winter here at Audubon. We sure have made the most of spending out time outside and have enjoyed every moment.

When we arrived we started with our daily prompt for our journals. We predicted how much snow would be on our objects next week. After we wrote in our journals we enjoyed some free play time where some of us imagined that we were snow worms.

During morning meeting we decided to go back to Beaver Pond, one of our favorite places not matter the season. When we were there we noticed that some of the snow was great for packing and many of us started to sculpt things in the snow. Others of us have more free imaginative play and create a game with dragons and wizards.

We then went back to the clubhouse to enjoy some lunch and read more of our book, HOOT.

These Wednesdays have been so incredible. No matter the temperature or weather we are also ready to explore and play outside and work together.
