Clean Water and Bird Habitat Work at Nordic Farms

What's good for the birds is good for protecting our clean water.

By removing invasive species and restoring native plants, we are restoring important bird habitat and providing a model that other landowners can follow. This work creates habitat for Golden-winged Warblers and other bird species that require shrubs for nesting and foraging.

Audubon Vermont is pleased to collaborate with the Vermont Land Trust, Vermont Youth Conservation Corps, Vermont Department of Fish and Wildlife, Cornell Lab of Ornithology's Land Trust Bird Conservation Initiative, and the owners of Nordic Farms to advance this exciting project.
