1:00pm - 3:00pm Eastern Shelburne, Vermont

Location Details
Shelburne Farms
1611 Harbor Rd, Shelburne, 05482, VT
We are meeting at the Farm Barn Parking Lot at Shelburne Farms. When you arrive at the Farm, pull through the gated entryway and follow the road towards the Farm Barn. Bear right at the first fork in the road and then take the road that goes up and behind the Farm Barn Parking Lot. View the map below:
Meander through Shelburne Farms' sugarbush, visit the lambs in the Farmyard, and experience the changing season during this early season spring hike. Shelburne Farm's campus is a 1,400-acre working farm located on the unceded, traditional, and contemporary homelands of the Winooskik band of the Abenaki. The property has over 10 miles of walking tails that play an integral part in connecting people to the land and fostering a sense of place, both of which are central to Shelburne's educational mission.
We will meet at Shelburne Farms' Farm Barn Parking Lot (outside) at 1:00pm. See map attached below for directions to this lot.
Pride Hikes are a collaboration between Audubon Vermont, the Pride Center of Vermont, and Outright Vermont. Pride Hikes have been happening every month since June of 2018 and go beyond being "welcoming to everyone" to creating a safe, affirming space for LGBTQIA++ community members.
Please bring anything else you will need to feel comfortable outdoors for a little over an hour or two, such as sturdy walking shoes, water, snowshoes, hand/toe warmers, micro spikes, a warm beverage etc.
No dogs at this event unless they are a service dog.
Please register in advance. Your information will be kept confidential and used by program coordinators to determine how many folks to expect, learn if anyone has accessibility needs, and contact you about this event. All ages, allies, and families welcome! Youth under 18 years should be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Trail/Accessibility Information: Our walk will be an easy, slow pace and will cover less than 2 miles. We are very flexible about the trails we choose based upon the needs of the group. Some trails are flat and wide on a base of crushed rock, while others are bit steeper and uneven. In spring, the trails could be covered in snow, ice, or mud. See trail map attached below.
