Spencer Ogden

Forest Conservation Intern

Spencer was born in Chicago, but grew up in Connecticut before moving to Vermont in 2021 to start his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science in the Rubenstein School for Environment and Natural Resources at UVM. Spencer graduated in May of 2025 with his degree, which had a concentration in Conservation Biology and Biodiversity. Growing up, Spencer was always fascinated with the natural world, and has been a bird watcher for basically as long as he can remember. Spencer was the Vice President of the UVM Birding Club (formerly Audubon UVM Chapter) for a year and a half before stepping down in 2025 to let a younger cohort of officers take over before the senior officers in the club graduated. When he’s not out birding and/or hiking, Spencer enjoys playing games and watching sports.
