We Love Winter!

Week 2 January 24th and 26th

Another week with more snow! We are grateful for the warmer temperature this week as well. We spent our morning searching for 34 super colorful mice! We used our super hearing to listen for the squeaking mice and were able to find them all! After finding them, we went around and described our favorite mouse using only our words.

On Wednesday, our morning meeting leader planned a fun filled day for us! We began by coloring some winter scene pictures. We have a group of amazing artists! We then moved to the backyard for some sledding and playtime. This snow has been perfect for sledding! Then we headed up to forest camp for lunch around an awesome fire. For our last activity, we hiked up to mossy rocks to see how they look in the snow, and took turns jumping up to try and touch a trail marker on a tree. We headed back down to forest camp for Thank You Circle and then it was time for pick up!

On Friday, we started the day with some coloring inside due to some heavy rain. We did morning meeting and enjoyed snack and story inside as well. The rain started to let up, so we headed outside to find our mice and then over to forest camp! We made some delicious snow soup and iced tea, played on our motorcycles, and climbed our favorite tree. We enjoyed lunch at forest camp around a fire before heading back to the barn to get some dry layers. After that, it was time for Thank You Circle and pick up!
