A Snowy Wonderland

Week 11 Nov 16th and 18th

The final week! Wow how these 11 weeks have flown by and have been filled with so many smiles and adventures. In the morning we tried to find chipmunks hiding in the snow, but unfortunately we couldn’t find them all, they must have burrowed under the snow to stay warm.

Wednesday was a winter wonderland.  It snowed for almost the whole day and made Audubon look so pretty. We wanted to see Beaver Pond in the snow, so after snack on the office porch we hiked down. We played with the snow shaking it off trees getting us so snowy, and we noticed some tracks too. At the pond we made snow angels, snow balls, and threw snow into the pond too. The fun you can have in the snow is endless.

Friday even though it wasn’t snowing we still got to have fun in the snow. We also wanted to go to Beaver Pond and see if there was any ice. We took a poll and half of us thought the pond would be frozen and half didn’t. When we got to the pond, there was ice, but the whole pond wasn’t frozen.

We cannot wait for January to come to continue our adventures in the the winter and spring!
