Highlights from Crafty Critters

July 30th - August 3rd

Crafty Critter Preschool Camp was so full of amazing nature crafters.  We made nature into art and made art out in nature.  We got to explore so many fun places of Audubon this week!

Monday after snack and morning meeting our crafty critters went on a nature hike where they gathered up materials for their craft. Back at the barn, Liv taught us about balancing works and then how to make a mobile.  The big maple tree by the office is now decorated with many of them, be sure to look for them.

Tuesday we made coffee filter and clothespin butterflies and nature binoculars.  We hid the butterflies in the garden and put on our binoculars to test them while we searched for the butterflies.

Wednesday we started the day with coloring.  The morning campers played so many games and journeyed to mossy rocks for nature sculpting.  The afternoon campers did sit spots where they colored out in nature and then hiked the entire hires trail. We also found this great grasshopper too.

Thursday, (today), they gathered materials on a walk and painted some wonderful plants.  They also did some string art also using a book, and it comes out looking like a flower!

Nature crafts are wonderful because most of the supplies you already have and are outside!
