Happy Little Trees

Preschool Nature Camp, June 24-28

This week was spent discovering the vibrant colors and beautiful patterns in nature! We painted with natural dyes and paintbrushes, build rock sculptures, and perfected the flower crown. Along the way we created music from natural materials, danced, and played games in the week of connecting nature and art.

We had so much fun exploring nature and emulating bob Ross with our art skills! We made crafts like tissue paper flowers/flower crowns, jingle sticks, nature creatures, leaf rubbing placemats, coffee filter butterflies, painted rocks, magic potions, bird masks, built bird nests, and created nature mandalas!

We went on adventures such as a color search hike, peeper pond exploration, brook exploration, hike to look out rock (where we saw a baby toad), and beaver pond!
We had our CITs turn into flowers, butterflies, and frogs before our very eyes!

We played lots of games, like cat and mouse under the parachute, duck duck goose, Simon says, down by the banks, freeze tag, and hide and seek tag!
And we made new friends!
