As we jump into the start of spring weather in Vermont, so do our amphibious friends! While they begin to crawl out of hibernation, we’ll spend our time learning all about some of the newtest – sorry, neatest – animals in the pond! Come prepared to be out in the muck to see firsthand some of the awesome frogs, toads, and salamanders that we have right in our backyard!
Ages: 3+
Trail/Accessibility Information: Trails may have areas of packed earth/dirt, grass, roots, and leaves. Trails may be muddy. Participants using wheelchairs, mobility equipment, or strollers may need all-terrain tires or adaptive/motorized equipment for the surface type and grade
Suggested attire/gear: This program is entirely outside. Dress in layers for the Vermont spring temperatures. Mud boots with good traction or an is recommended. Bring snacks/warm drinks as necessary to keep you and your family comfortable.
