Important Information on the
Audubon Vermont Newsletter

Audubon Vermont has traditionally mailed its quarterly newsletter to all National Audubon Society members in Vermont. With the creation of our new website, in lieu of a quarterly mailing to all Audubon members, our program listings and other "news of note" will be available to members online. This will not only enable us to provide Audubon members with current and up-to-the moment information about program listings, schedule changes, etc., but will also allow us to reduce printing and mailing expenses and use our limited funds in direct support of our mission of environmental education, science and advocacy. As a courtesy and benefit to those individuals, businesses and organizations who choose to make a gift to Audubon Vermont to support our local programming, we will continue to mail a newsletter to your home or place of business. This change will take place effective with our fall newsletter.

As a member of the National Audubon Society, you might not realize that
while your membership dollars go to benefit the many worthwhile initiatives of Audubon at a national level, only gifts made directly to Audubon Vermont remain in Vermont to underwrite our programs in your "backyard." (Gifts to Audubon Vermont of $20 or more also renew your membership in the National Audubon Society.) If you're a member of Audubon but you haven't contributed to our local programs I hope you'll take the time to make a tax-deductible donation to Audubon Vermont today. You will be supporting programs right here in Vermont, and we will be pleased to keep you informed of the ways in which we are connecting people with nature through our newsletter delivered directly to your door.
