Wind Storm Damages Audubon Trails and Buildings

All trails at the Green Mountain Audubon Center are closed until further notice while we assess for safety and damage.

Sunday night's wind storm caused major damage at the Green Mountain Audubon Center in Huntington, Vermont.

All trails and buildings will be closed until further notice. We are assessing for safety and damage.

We currently have no electricity, no phone service, and spotty cell phone service. Many of our trails are impassable and buildings have been damaged. The recent heavy rains have saturated the soil, so we expect that more trees could be blowing down.

We anticipate that repair work will be extensive.  Please check our website and Facebook page for further updates.
