These Crazy Days of Summer

Audubon Summer Camp is in full swing!

Summer is a busy time for Audubon Vermont at the Green Mountain Audubon Center. From summer evening events, to montly Public Preschool, to public bird banding, there always seems to be something happening at our beautiful Audubon Center.

June 26th marked the start of our Summer Day Camp season: at 9 am Monday morning we welcomed our first Ecology Day campers to the Clubhouse. Over the next 4 weeks we welcomed more Ecology Day Campers (ages 6-13) as well as Preschool Nature Campers (ages 3-5) and explored the magical world of Audubon with them. The summer energy is high and full of so much curiousity and excitement.

Today marks the start of our 5th week of Summer Camp, which means we are more than half way through the summer camp season.

So far our Audubon campers have:

Caught critters in the Sherman Hollow Brook, Huntington River, and Beaver Pond.
