Early June is an ideal time for a bird walk! Audubon Vermont's Steve Hagenbuch will lead the group through a variety of forest types in search of migratory and resident forest nesting songbirds. We'll also discuss the habitat needs of these species and how it can be enhanced through thoughtful stewardship.
The hike will be entirely on forest trails and all that comes along with them, with occasional muddy areas and some moderate uphill. Please wear sturdy footwear and dress for the conditions. Insect repellent suggested.
