Climate change is impacting forests worldwide, and northern Vermont is no exception. This tour of the 1,473 acre NorthWoods forest will focus on climate-adapted silviculture and management, showing our use of Foresters for the Birds and Northern Institute of Applied Climate Science Adaptation Workbook recommendations. Discussions will be geared toward foresters and experienced land managers; contact us for CFE credit availability. Tour will involve rough woods walking and we'll have lunch in the field (please bring your own bag lunch).
