The new Catamount Community Forest is close to reality. Join us for a bird walk at the Catamount Outdoor Family Center on Saturday, September 22 to celebrate this event. We will walk the trails along the power line looking for migrating sparrows, vireos, and warblers among others.
We will meet in the parking lot on Governor Chittenden Road to begin this walk.
This event is free and open to the public. However, donations to the Trust for Public Land, the organization spearheading the acquisition of the Catamount Outdoor Family Center by the town of Williston, are still being accepted. If you have not donated already you can do so on line at tpl.org/catamount. You can read more about this project by visiting the GMAS website at: https://www.greenmountainaudubon.org/
Please register in advance for this event by emailing the Green Mountain Audubon Society at email@example.com
